What We Do

The program’s primary goal is to provide a safe place for families while assisting them in securing permanent housing.

We provide each family with personal necessities, case management and employment support services  We have a supplies and food on site and families can access this upon arrival and as needed during their stay.

Adults in the shelter are encouraged to meet with the Homeless Resource Advocate at least once per week to receive case management services.

Supplies

  • Access to onsite food pantry upon arrival
  • Toiletries
  • Clothes (when available)
  • Internet access
  • Phone for client use
  • Phone acquisition

Assistance

  • Assistance with applying for government benefits
  • Guidance on applying for housing assistance
  • Help securing ID/Driver license assistance, birth certificate
  • Assistance with locating and securing drug and alcohol rehabilitation services
  • Internal referrals for victims of domestic violence
  • Mental health referrals and support
  • Referrals to outside agencies

  • Baby, Toddler, Kids Clothes/Pj’s
  • Kids Toothpaste
  • Full Mattress Protectors
  • Small Garbage Cans (for bedrooms)

  • Gift Cards to Lowes/Home Depot/Walmart
