Family Resource Center

About the Family Resource Center

The CAPSC Family Resource Center provides the needed services, support, and education to build healthier futures for all families, as well as community-based activities for parents and caregivers.

The purpose of the Family Resource Center is to create stronger families and build bonds across generations.

Our philosophy centers around the Protective Factors Framework, which are shown to reduce risk and promote healthy physical and emotional development for families both today and in the future.

Stories of Support

Shannon came to the CAPSC Family Resource Center after being in recovery for 5 months, and says her family support specialist, Elizabeth, has helped her emotionally, practically and personally as she learns to care for her baby. “You’re surprised you didn’t think of it before,” she says. “With being in the CFSS, I want to have more confidence in myself and gain more control over the direction of my life.”
