Donate Items

At CAPSC, our services, programs and community outreach rely on generous in-kind donations of food and supplies from our community. We share your passion to help our neighbors, and offer thanks for choosing to support CAPSC.

How to Donate Items

Donations are accepted by pre-approval and appointment only during business hours.

Please contact Maddy Shuldman at [email protected] for more information or to coordinate your donation appointment.

Organize a Donation Drive

Organizing a donation drive within your neighborhood, school, or place of business amplifies the local support given to CAPSC programs, which only increases the impact on the community members we help. If you would like to organize a donation drive, we will help you make it happen!

For inquiries, contact Maddy Shuldman at [email protected].

What to Know Before You Donate

We typically welcome donations in brand new condition. When we receive an item that we cannot accept, we have to pay to dispose of it. This takes time, effort, and funding away from helping our neighbors in need. Please read our guidelines below before donating items, and if you aren’t sure, reach out to us with any questions.

  • When donating non-perishable food items, they must be unexpired.
  • We are not able to pick up donations from your home or office.
  • Donations are accepted by pre-approval and appointment only during business hours.
  • See our Top 5 Needs for great giving ideas.

We do not accept:

  • Car seats
  • Cribs
  • Mattresses
