March 2024 marked an important milestone for Community Action Partnership of Strafford County and our community. It marked the 20th anniversary of Covered Bridge Manor’s senior housing in Dover!

Completed in 2004, Covered Bridge Manor contains 26 apartments for residents aged 62 and over. Amenities include a common room, laundry room, and three-season patio area.

Gafney Home
After 115 years as an assisted living facility, the Gafney Home has been transformed into 21 units for those aged 62 and older. Amenities include common rooms with historical features, laundry rooms, and a beautiful garden.

- Lunchtime trips to restaurants

Are you a local business or individual that wants to give back? We are always looking for donated services or new activities for our seniors and would love to get you involved.
Some ideas include:
- Musicians to come and play or instruct our residents
- Drivers to provide transportation
- Technology assistance
- Animal therapy
