2024 Champion Award Winner: A-D Archambault Plumbing and Heating, Inc.

CAPSC is successful because of the people and partnerships that allow us to serve and empower Strafford County residents.  We honor some of the most special community partners with our annual Champion Award, which celebrates an organization or community member that has gone and above and beyond in giving back to Strafford County. We are honored to present this year’s Champion Award to A-D Archambault Plumbing & Heating, a company with enormous dedication to supporting people who are most in need, always answers the call for help, and a CAPSC partner since 1991!

Cheryl’s story is just one of many examples that highlight the impact of community support on individuals in need.

Through partnerships with local businesses and professionals, CAPSC has been able to provide crucial home repairs and upgrades for low-income families and senior citizens. In Cheryl’s case, A-D Plumbing & Heating stepped in to help fix her bathroom and plumbing issues, allowing her to live more comfortably and safely in her own home.

The results of these partnerships can be life-changing. For Cheryl, having a walk-in shower means no longer struggling to get in and out of a tub. And with properly functioning plumbing, she now has access to clean water without worrying about leaks or other problems.

“They redid my bathroom for me so now I don’t have a hard time getting in and out of a tub. I’ve got a nice walk-in shower. Then downstairs they fixed all the plumbing for me so I have nice running water. There really are no words for me to tell you how much my life has changed.”

Founded in 1965, CAPSC is the sole provider in Strafford County to offer a full suite of programs and services designed to have a measurable impact on the health and welfare of at-risk children, seniors, and people experiencing low incomes.

Without the services provided by our agency, many local residents would be without a means to provide for their basic needs, including food, education, child care, utilities assistance, transportation, housing, emergency shelter and access to other services.
