CAPSC employees and leadership team members, including Child and Family Services Director Tanisha Johnson, recently participated in filming video announcements for 2023’s Mission Award and Champion Award winners. The winners will be announced in May during our Annual Meeting, on our website, and on our social media channels.
Founded in 1965, CAPSC is the sole provider in Strafford County to offer a full suite of programs and services designed to have a measurable impact on the health and welfare of at-risk children, seniors, and people experiencing low incomes.
Without the services provided by our agency, many local residents would be without a means to provide for their basic needs, including food, education, child care, utilities assistance, transportation, housing, emergency shelter and access to other services.

Every year, CAPSC convenes community members, partners, and leaders to join us for a celebration of CAPSC’s accomplishments over the last year and the accomplishments we have made together as a community. The event typically includes breakfast, networking, a brief presentation, keynote speaker, and the announcement of the prestigious Mission and Champion awards. It’s a powerful community-driven event that brings together leaders from across Strafford County!
