Comprehensive Family Support Services

Raising a family comes with its share of joys and challenges, as well as moments when you need a helping hand. CFSS is a preventative program that is designed to reduce the risks of child abuse and neglect. Our goal is to provide the individualized guidance, education, and support needed for families to grow stronger together.

What can you expect from being part of CFSS?

The CFSS program is available to any family with children from prenatal to 21 years old. In the CFSS program, family support specialists work one-on-one with families to develop and achieve personal goals. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Increased coping skills
  • Learning positive discipline techniques
  • Learning about child development
  • Feeling empowered as parents
  • Creating consistent schedules
  • Connecting with resources
  • Accessing support with medical/social service appointments and school meetings
  • Accessing the Preventive Child Care Program
