Senior Housing

One of the least-served populations in Strafford County are residents over the age of 65. It is an unfortunate reality that the needs of our seniors only increase with age while, simultaneously, they are gradually forgotten by the community. Through a cooperation with Alliance Asset Management, we work with elderly residents in becoming or remaining financially and socially independent through a variety of coordinated programs, with the goal of helping them age in place in a supportive environment.

Application and screening is provided solely through Alliance Asset Management. CAPSC does not accept or process applications for senior housing. For more information on how to apply for senior housing through Alliance Asset Management, please visit www.alliancenh.com/.

Covered Bridge Manor Celebrates
20th Anniversary!

March 2024 marked an important milestone for Community Action Partnership of Strafford County and our community. It marked the 20th anniversary of Covered Bridge Manor’s senior housing in Dover!
Covered Bridge Manor has a tight community allowing seniors in our community to remain independent. Take a look at what some residents have to say about living at Covered Bridge!

Completed in 2004, Covered Bridge Manor contains 26 apartments for residents aged 62 and over. Amenities include a common room, laundry room, and three-season patio area.

Gafney Home

After 115 years as an assisted living facility, the Gafney Home has been transformed into 21 units for those aged 62 and older. Amenities include common rooms with historical features, laundry rooms, and a beautiful garden.
