Head Start Testimonial

Local parent, Amanda C., loves Head Start. "When I put my daughter into Head Start, she didn't know a letter or a number, but when she came out she could write her name and was almost reading. I was blown away," she says.
Her daughter, Madison, is now in third grade and loves school. "Because of that program, she is so full of life and succeeding."

Audrey L. of Farmington, whose own daughter just graduated from the program, encourages other parents to apply for the program. “I’ve changed a few people’s minds about Head Start. It’s such a phenomenal program. It isn’t just a program for kids,” says Audrey “It is a full family experience. My husband loves it, and my older daughter who is 13 also loves coming and spending time with the little kids.”
