Imagine having nowhere to sleep. Now imagine having to take care of children too. Where would you go? Home For Now provides temporary shelter to families with at least one dependent child in their care.
The shelter supports up to 32 people in the house at any given time. The typical length of stay for a family is six months.
What We Do
The program’s primary goal is to provide a safe place for families while assisting them in securing permanent housing.
We provide each family with personal necessities, case management and employment support services We have a supplies and food on site and families can access this upon arrival and as needed during their stay.
Adults in the shelter are encouraged to meet with the Homeless Resource Advocate at least once per week to receive case management services.

- Mental health referrals and support
- Referrals to outside agencies
